Kelsey Kawamoto is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she received her B.F.A. in Fashion Design, May 2015. Kelsey had the opportunity to study in Savannah and Atlanta, GA as well as Hong Kong during her time at SCAD. Through her travels and studies, Kelsey developed a personal aesthetic that reflects her appreciation for a modern interpretation of the past. The designer has a passion for developing Childrenswear that reflects her love of the 1960's classic style and exploration of fun and quirky texture and motifs.
The designer has experience with pattern making, draping, computer-aided fashion design, fiber arts, print design, illustration, and design. Kelsey is excited to continue to develop well-crafted and delightful Children's fashion as she moves forward in her career as a designer.
Currently, Kelsey resides in Philadelphia, PA where she works as an Assistant Fashion Designer for Women's Woven Tops and Childrenswear at Lilly Pulitzer.
